How to Use the New Blog Software

Ok,  I built this site with a pretty standard “Blog” software.    The biggest difference is that everything keys off of “posts” to the blog.  Posts can only be written by site adminstrators (Julie or Me) at this time, but anyone can respond with comments to each post.   This is a bit different from the old site, but should work nicely.   Right now, I do not require a login to post a comment, but if things get out of hand with SPAM or innapropriate comments I might turn on this feature.

Also, if you are a bit more technical, check out the RSS feeds;  with this cool feature, posts and comments will automatically sent to your PC’s RSS reader (there’s one built into Internet Explorer).

I haven’t figured out how we will deal with photo galleries yet, but I’ll figure something out.

I know it’s different than before, but I just don’t have the time to completely rebuild a custom site;  so please be patient.

I’m so glad you were able to get the site back up no matter what it looks like! Thanks so much Tom! I’m sure you have been busy with work, baseball, baby, etc. but I for one have missed my daily “Tucker Report”. Hope all is well and thanks for getting back on line so we can all see how you are doing!

    Hey Julie!!

How are you? It sounds like you are doing really well and I am so happy for you! My winter has been pretty bad! I just got out of the hospital with auto immine pancreatitis and I already have Crohn’s disease. I am back to work and doing fine. Friends of mine are trying to have a baby. Getthis, they have a 24 year old and a 11 year old and they have been trying for 4 years to get prego but no luck! This year they started fertility. Well the first 2 times it did not take and the third time she had a cyst so they said wait a month. That month she ended up getting pregnant on there own but lost the baby at 7 weeks. They are still trying so please keep your fingers crossed! She had lost her father-n- law and then the baby! It was really hard.

I hear from Che but she is so busy which is good. I worry about her! I know next month will be hard with Anna’s b-day! I hope it goes ok for her! i know that she has you and would be sooo lost with out you! She really wants to visit when you have the baby!!! I hope she can! Well iam glad that everything is going great for you!!! You deserve it! Keep in touch!
    Love,
    Renee ()che’s cousin)
