Dr. Appt Went Well
Hello all. My doctor appointment went well. He wants me to go for non-stress tests every week to make sure the baby is still doing okay. I think he’s puting my mind at ease also. I’m 33 wks already, so time is coming near. I finally went out and bought onesies and a diapers but that’s about it. I’m just busy trying to get all our projects finished up so we have no more sanding to do or painting. Almost there. My bought me my bassinet/pack-n-play. She said the baby needed a place to sleep when it came home. I guess she’s right. (haha) I don’t know why I’m so un motivated. I feel like I have so much time when I actually am running out of time. I guess its true by the time its your 3rd or 4th kid you get laxed. Oh well, I look at life so much different now, just go with the flow. Remember back in the day when I said I would have “closet time”? Then it moved to “shower time”? Well, I have been having a lot of them lately. I’ll be washing my hair, thinking of something with the neighbors and then boom…..a flashback of Jessica pops in my head. And its always the grim things. Maybe that’s why I feel that I am having a boy. Maybe Jessie watching out for me so I won’t be comparing or looking into a girl’s eyes and seeing Jess. I wish I could just cuddle with her. I miss her so much. And yes it has gotten better over time but it still feels almost like yesterday that she was here. Anyhoot, thanks for checking in. Tom is going to try to update this page . I think he’s sick of hearing me complain. New people who say they have stumbled across this have no idea of Jessie’s journey. So he’s going to try to put a history part on here plus a photot area. Well, have a great week and enjoy your weekend. Please say some prayers for so many children out there battling to get better. Hold the ones who have lost close to your hearts. Julie-
I am so glad to hear you are a healthy 33 weeks pregnant. I too had weekly nst’s from 30 weeks on in my pregnancies. I do not know what it is like to in your situation. I suffered from a loss, and it is hard..so hard.
Your baby will be here before you know it, and a new chapter will start in all of you’re lives. I know your angel Jessica will be right there by your side.

Dear Julie: I am so glad things are ging well physically and the doctor says things are good. Maybe you are not “unmotivated” just don’t want to be disappointed again. Just a thought. You have been so strong and had so many disappointments, I would think that it would be only natural to be “skittish” (I love that word, my grandpa always used it)and want to protect yourself from hurts. Wait until your beautiful baby comes and then have the joy of buying all the things you need. You know what would be fun? Well, at least I think it would be fun. Lets have a cybershower! After beautiful baby Tucker is born, all of us that read and keep in touch with your web page could send gifts or well wishes or whatever at the same time and you could take pictures of you with everthing and it would feel as if we are all with you and all connected. Just a thought. Do you realize how many people you and Jessica have brought together? Everyday when I read the posts, I look for some of the same names. Then, after I say my prayers for your family, I say a prayer for all of them. There are the regulars such as Wendy, Jenn, Missy, Mrs. C, Prayer Warrior, Becky, Che, etc. It is so exciting to see how God started with one beautifully polished stone like Jessica and tossed her into the water and the ripple effect she is having! I also recognize many names from the past few years, and “a friend” is very thoughtful to remember us along with Julie and the Tucker family! How true is the comment about the ripple effect that Jessica has had on so many! Well said! Hope that today has been a good day for the Tucker family! One day closer to the happy news of the new baby!

Fabulous news and I am so happy to hear things are going so well! In such a short time you will be holding that beautiful little miracle in your arms, giving he/she lots of kisses and hugs and receiving so much love. After all the love you have given…..its about time your back on the receiving end. I too wanted to comment on “A Friend” and what a lovely post where they referenced to the ripple effect Jessica has had on all of us who have been brought together through this journey. Sweet Jessica knew all along what she was doing. Her plan was well orchestrated from day one. Maybe young, but insightful she was. She made sure her Mommy had some “friends” who would surround her with prayers and warm wishes and love. Thats what we all have done here for each other over time…Amazing it is.

I am so glad you guys are up and running again and you are healthy. I was devastated when the other site went down not knowing what was going on. I live in Arkansas now, but my oldest still lives in Elgin and I have had him asking around, he has friends all over up there. He finally called me today & said he heard the site was back up.
You probably don’t realize how much, total strangers to you, are praying for you. I have been reading your site from almost the beginning & I am so happy for you, and for me, because now I can follow along again. God Bless You

Julie, I hope that you are still doing well. I too had those non stress tests. Even though they were a bother, I looked forward to each one of them, because it reinforced that all was going smoothly. Just a comfort to have them. Are you at 34 or 35 weeks?

I hope that all is still well with you since your last post. I know that you all are getting more excited as you anticipate your little one’s arrival. I had a non-stress test with my first pregnancy. I’m sure that it will be non eventful, if I recall mine correctly… just alot of sitting and waiting! Hi Tuckers!!!
It’s been such a long time since I’ve gotten to post-sorry-my email changed due to some of my own website woes and also our desktop crashed so we’ve been sharing a laptop (that I use for business) and that’s not going well LOL! We’ll see by the end of this if my hubby and I are brought closer or further apart ha ha.
Anyway, I’ve been reading and thinking of you and I can’t believe how far you’ve come already! I cannot wait to hear the very happy news that is no longer far away. Wow-makes you think of how far you’ve come not only w/ your pregnancy but on this entire journey, and of course Jessie has her hand in it. I dont’ doubt that for a second. Good luck and stay comfy! I imagine that is hard to do being pregnant in July but I’m sure you don’t mind
Plus, it’ll be so nice not to have to bundle up the baby right away w/ all the snow gear, etc. What an awesome summer you’re about to have!!!
