Julie, keep your spirits up. Your little guy will get stronger everyday. I remember going in and out of the NICU for those 7 weeks with Alex, praying everyday that they would tell me she could come home. Better he stay there and get strong, then to come home and have problems! Just be patient, as hard as it is. Soon you will have distant memories of him being in NICU and wonder back on how did he ever come so early because now he is this beautiful, big, healthy, crazy little boy! Hugs and kisses to all of you.

Keep the faith Julie, I have seen some amazing things happen with premies, at much less weight and much less developed. I can't imagine how difficult it is, just give it time. Best of luck riding out the wait!
Best wishes as always, Becky

Dear Julie,
I hope to hear that lil' Ryan does well on his 3 day test and is ready to come home. I remember when my son Joshua was in the NICU hearing that they gave caffeine to the infants. Joshua didn't get it. He was full term and healthy, but had sluggish breathing following my c-section.
I understand how you feel worrying something else was wrong when he wasn't pooping. It natural, after what you have been thru with Jessica. I was like that with Joshua after having a stillborn.
I can only imagine how hard it is to paint Jessica's room to make it Ryan's. It must be bittersweet.
I know your baby boy will be home soon!

*hugs*
